Let me ask you a very important question. Are you experiencing the results that you want from your article marketing efforts? If you were anything like me when I first started out online I was writing articles with very little results.

In this article I would like to go over the main ingredients that you need to do to be successful with article marketing.

Make sure that you choose a niche market to write about that you are passionate about. Face it to be successful with this method of advertising you need to write hundreds if not thousands of articles to be successful. If you choose a topic that you do not like it is going to be extremely difficult. For example my passion is about internet marketing so I find it really easy to focus on this and write articles that are related to this.

Make sure that you help your reader. Share a slice of your expertise without giving the farm away. If you help your reader they are more likely to visit your website and subscribe to your newsletter. Consequently this will mean more visitors.

Remember that volume is key to succeeding using this method of promotion. The higher the number of articles the greater your number of subscribers and sales. Try to write at least 10 to 20 articles a day. If you are doing less than this you simply will not be making enough noise in the marketplace.

When I first started out I was sending all my traffic to a sales page with very little success. You need to focus on sending all your traffic to a squeeze page so that you can build a list. I also suggest that you get a professional autoresponder account like Getresponse. Every time somebody subscribes to your newsletter they will automatically be added to your autoresponder so that you can follow up with them.

Are you really interested in driving massive traffic to your website?

Do you want to earn money on demand writing simple articles that sells? If yes, let's have a look at the whole marketing process behind this. You are going to discover why only a handful of savvy marketers earn a full time income writing articles.

It's a long process, but when you master each step, you are on the direct road to Internet success.

Savvy writers know that you need to use leverage to succeed. What does it mean? Please pay attention to the following sentence because this is the difference between a thousands of dollars in profits per month and failure.

Revealed: The biggest article marketing secret.

An article is not really an article.

An article is an agent working for you twenty four hours a day on complete autopilot because it will multiply.

From one article, you should be able to make a full product line in your niche market.

Here is how it works:

1. You write a single article, but with a different mindset. The goal of this single article is to create an outline for a more complex project.

Be sure to get every single aspect of the niche in the article. What these people want, what are their dreams and aspirations, what are their biggest frustrations.

Where do they meet and where they are going to solve their problems, etc...

When you gathered all the information you need, write this article. You are not going to write an essay here, but an outline with bullet points.

For now, do not add anything under each bullet. Just a sentence.

2. When the article is finished.

Take your first paragraphs and write about everything you think about (A brain dump).

Do the same thing for each paragraph and each bullet point. Repeat this process over and over. From one article, you should be able to get dozens of other related articles.

After a while, you will have articles on every single aspect of your niche market.

What's next?

It's time to add all these articles together and publish an short "loss leader" ebook to get customers into your marketing funnel.

What's next?

Take the same book, add more content and sell it on Amazon.com

This is only the beginning of the Internet cash machine money plan.

Meta tags used to be the big, bad beasts of search engine optimization. If you manipulated them just right, you could get high rankings. Those days are gone, but they still are important.

The meta title is a very important for a number of reasons. From the perspective of getting rankings, it is helpful in identifying what is on the page in question. This, of course, means you better have a meta title that actually describes what is on the page in question.

Assuming you do, the meta title is very valuable for a reason many don't really think about. How so? Well, it actually can be used to bring in clicks from people reviewing the search engine page results. Consider the following example.

Assume I am looking to buy a construction invoice software program. I do a search for the phrase on Google, Yahoo, MSN or whatever. Ten results are kicked out and I start reading the titles. The meta titles appear as the first bold and underlined phrase for each listing.

Now, what result am I most likely to click? Most studies reveal that I'll click one of the first three. There is, however, more to the story. I am also more likely to click the result that uses the exact phrase I have searched for. In this case, I am more likely to click the listing that has the title that says "construction invoice software program" because that is what I search for.

This also raises a secondary issue regarding the meta title. Simply put, how many keywords should you put in it? There are different philosophies. Some people try to stick to one keyword phrase while others shoot for multiple phrases. Personally, I tend to go with one keyword phrase so long as it equates to at least three words in the phrase.

At the end of the day, the meta title does not play the role it used to years ago when meta tags were king. It does, however, still have a decent effect on rankings and a strong impact on getting people to click through to your site.

If you are really serious about promoting your business writing and submitting articles, you need to have a plan. Most occasional bum marketers will submit ten articles and will not see any results.

Who said that article marketing was easy?

Step 1: Write and submit more articles.

You can't submit 10 articles per month and except to see results. This form of advertising is only effective if your articles are consistently in front of potential publishers.

I mean that you should submit articles weekly. In fact, every single day, you need to get at least 10 articles out there.

I know, it's a lot but it's the price to pay for success. If you want to see tremendous results and increase your profits considerably, submit more articles.

Step 2: Submit to more directories.

You can't rely on a single article directory like you don't need to submit to hundreds and hundreds of them.

The right strategy is to submit to the best one. It's counter intuitive since everybody teach that you need to use services like isnare.com or articlemarketer.com to get results.

I don't follow this advice because my results are the proof that my strategy works.

Here is a small sample of my results:

1. Top 10 rankings for my websites In Google

I get top search engine rankings because I use the right anchor text in my resource box.

2. Thousands of monthly visitors to my webpages

The targeted traffic comes from three different sources:

* The article directories themselves

* The different search engine results pages

* Potential customers researching information about me or one of my products

Online marketing starts with your website

Internet marketing allows you to reach a global audience. Internet marketing is marketing your business online. Online marketing starts with your website; make sure its attractive and easy to use. When they need information, modern-day consumers turn first to the Internet. All of your online marketing will make sure they will find

As mentioned in the introduction, a big part of doing SEO work is getting your web site search engine friendly (SEF since we are using acronyms). SEF entitles recreating or re-tagging your web pages to create flow. Think of it as a city road with traffic lights, one way streets and dead end signs.

So, exactly what does this mean?

Simply put, search engines don't see images, videos, flash components or anything other than text for that matter much less the flow of HTML tables, rows and columns the key here is to keep your web pages "accessible" to search engines. The Following is a brief list on do's and dont's to get a SEF web site.

  1. Use header tags that match the page's title: If your page's title is "bluberries" use an h1 in the body that implies "blueberries"

  2. Replace java-script image rollovers with CSS rollovers: If you haven't done so, it is a good time to get into CSS. CSS is key to design a stylish SEF web site. You can make any HTML tag look fantastic without jeopardizing search engine accessibility.
  3. Get content: A site without content is a search engine's worst enemy. Good sources of content are FAQs, Glossary, News about your business or industry, etc. Don't get stock with just products and services, and don't hide text on images. If you have and image with text inside, re-do it without the text, use it as a background on a div and type the text.
  4. Be generous to the WWW and don't let your web site be a DEAD END. Having links to other pages benefits you as it makes you an information provider. Partner with link exchange programs or talk to your business neighbors to exchange links.
  5. Don't stick to Flash-only and Image-only navigation: Provide text links to ALL the pages in your web site. Pop ups are not links since generally they are linked to "#" or a javascript:void. It is a good idea to stay away from pop ups, not only they are skipped by search engines, they may also get blocked by pop up blockers.
  6. Don't try to overload your web site with keywords: Keyword density is a thing of the past (for Google).
  7. And the always popular KEEP IT SIMPLE.

Remember, if it makes sense to you it makes sense to them. Too often we see how people drift away by creating a web site that targets search engines and not actual visitors. Having a search engine friendly web site will aid in your optimization efforts without a doubt. Take care of your housekeeping before inviting people over and you'll have a site that attracts everyone.
